Three Gardens Viognier/Marsanne/Roussanne, Langmeil
Description
Marsanne and Roussanne; grape varieties which, whilst relatively new to Australia's Barossa Valley, show great promise. The best characteristics of each variety have been combined to create a truly harmonious wine. Partially aged in seasoned oak for seven months the Langmeil Three Gardens White displays citrus aromas alongside fresh peaches and apricot and lightly honeyed notes. On the palate the citrus and peach come together nicely for this medium bodied food-friendly wine with hints of oyster shell minerality, zest and a little spice flowing through to the finish.
