Description

Fermented with 10% whole clusters and then aged for 16 months in 20% new French oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Strong red fruit character, fresh cranberry, red cherry and tart strawberry are revealed by nose and palate, along with a directed minerality. The complexity of this wine continues to develop as pomegranate emerges. A secondary floral tone of tea leaf counterbalances the fruit characters first observed.
